[{"content":"I finished Chapter Three today. I printed it out, all three chapters, and gave it to my wife. She does not know if I can even write. I thought of finishing at least six chapters before sharing it, but it was my duty to show something to my patron.\nI think I began writing in the end of January, but stalled for two months. My car was hit and totaled, but luckily the person who hit me was the nicest person I’ve ever met. I got money but needed to find a new car. That turned out to be a nightmare.\nApril came and I was ready finally. I spent a couple of days struggling and I realized one thing. 1st draft does not have to be that poor.\nI’ve read somewhere that the 1st draft should be a vomit. I took it seriously and filled the pages with incomplete ideas and sentences. There was no structure and the most of all I was so determined not to fix any of them.\nBecause I had not touched it for two months, I forgot a lot of what I wrote. I began to revise the draft slowly and carefully to make my 1st draft the better 1st draft. It suited me well. I finally am writing.\nAnd I can’t tell how much I love doing this. I might be spending hours tinkering with a sentence or looking for the right verb, and settle on the first choice.
